The book, size 22 × 28 cm, contains 242 pages of captioned images, photographs and reproductions, accompanied by short texts in French and English to explain the approach, introduce the chapters, tell the history and the small stories, guide the reader on the geography, the cultures, the ethnic groups, the interpretation of the images. It is not a book on biology, art history, nor anthropology, but just sharing visual pleasure.
